Hi friends this post is about the issue my dad faced recently with Indian Railways. I booked ticket through IRCTC for my dad to travel from Vellore to Bangalore with window seat option. The ticket got confirmed with window seat, please refer below image When my dad got into the train and checked the seat 57 it was adjacent and he couldn't do any thing. He called me and said it's not window seat. Later I sent email to care@irctc.co.in stating the issue, below is the reply from them Dear Customer, With regard to your mail, we would like to inform you that IRCTC is the Web Interface for Indian Railways Ticketing System (Passenger Reservation System-PRS), which provides a facility to book ticket through Internet. Please note that all matters related to trains/fares/refund/routes/ scheduling/seat allocation etc are managed by Indian Railways only. Hi all, Yesterday I went to chennai to attend office meeting. Usually I will go by bus, which his comfortable to reach office. I went to vellore bus stand to take bus to chennai. I seen Volvo bus standing in chennai platform to take off. I planned to take Volvo bus for chennai, but it was repair due to some battery problem. So, I took ordinary bus and went to office. When I finished meeting in office and started to home, I usually take bus from CMBT, when I reached CBMT I saw Volvo bus to vellore. I get into it and asked conductor when the bus will start? he said 9 pm. Once again the bus got repaired, when inquired, they said starting problem.. after 9.30 they arranged another Volvo bus.. it started 9.45 and reached vellore by 12.00..... Hi All, This post is about My trip to Thirumala on 7th June 2009 with Selva. I was asking Selva and Thiru for long time about Thirumala Trip. I asked balajee whether he can join with us, he said okay. Finally On 24th May we decided to we will book ticket, by 2.00PM we four went to TTD booking center in Venkateshwara High School, Vellore. We booked ticket for Dharshanam on June 7th Sunday. Due to some other work Balajee and Thiru did not come to Thirumala. On 6th June I called selva and said we will meet tomorrow morning 4.45 in bus stand. 8th June Sunday As we discussed yesterday Selva came to bus stand by 4.45 itself. I came to bus stand by 5.10. When I saw the Thirupati bus platform it was empty and enquired with a man he said buses will come.
